Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
As the federal government’s amended TCPA regulations impact the way our industry communicates and contacts customers, we wanted to make sure you are aware of how the revisions affect our business and client roster. Mortgage ADV represents and warrants compliance to the authorities and our clients against any violations.
We require the following when communicating and contacting customers:
- We require prior express written consent for all calls to any type of residential lines and wireless numbers.
- We eliminate the established business relationship exception to the consent requirement for any communication.
- We require all agents, advisors and including automated processes that include an interactive opt-out mechanism for all types telemarketing calls or emails at any time.
- We require a double opted-in customer before communicating via email or telephone upon request.
